All businesses operating in the Town of Vaiden, MS, must obtain a Business Privilege License. To obtain a the license, follow the procedures below. 

Procedures

1. Complete the business owner application.

2. Complete the manager/operator application, if necessary.

3. Attach the following documents and submit to the Clerk’s Office at 201 Mulberry St, Vaiden, MS 39176.

• Provide the Articles of Incorporation from the State of Mississippi, if applicable

• Provide the business Permit/License documents from the State of Mississippi - Required

After you turn in your application (Time frame 2-5 days)

1. Applications will be reviewed.

2. A regular background verification check via EOC will be requested.

3. If the business is an LLC, Partnership, or Corporation the business standing will be checked against the State of MS business database. 

4. Board members will be notified by the mayor or the clerk of the new business. A copy of the application(s) will be provided, if requested.

5. If there are no negative responses from the Board or the background checks, the mayor will authorize the clerk to issue the Privilege License.

6. Privilege License Issued. (After payment of the appropriate fees)

7. A copy of an Ordinance(s) will be issued, if applicable.
